Yorik is also known as "Yorik the Wonder Dog". He knows over 80 tricks,  and performs his Tricky Dog Show for schools, church groups,  and nursing homes. From January 2007 to December 2008, he performed over 50 shows.
 
On January 25, 2008, KOLR-10 reporter Mary Beth Brush did a news story on Yorik and his trick show. He is also featured in the first 2009 issue of Community Hospices of America's magazine.
